Square Prints, Borders and Paper Texture

Replace the paper design, change the paper color and choose a full print or a layout with a border. Use the hand-held view to introduce the artwork, the curled-paper scene to show the sheet edge, and the close-up views to draw attention to texture and fine detail.

How to Edit the Mockup

Open a PSD in Adobe Photoshop CC2020 or newer, or in Photopea. Open the artwork Smart Object, place your design, save the Smart Object and return to the main scene. Adjust the available paper controls, then export a presentation image. Consult the included PDF manual for the file-specific workflow.

Build a Clear Square-Print Gallery

Treat the complete artwork and its surface detail as two different questions. Start with a view that makes the composition easy to read, then add a close-up to show the rough paper character. Keep the same artwork scale and border choice across the sequence so customers can connect the detail to the full print.

  • Compare bordered and full-print versions before choosing your lead image. A border can separate pale artwork from the surrounding background.

  • Check a small shop-thumbnail export as well as a large detail image. Fine lines that work at full size may become difficult to read in a product grid.

  • Keep a texture close-up as a supporting image rather than the only view. It explains the surface, but cannot show the complete composition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the PSD canvases square? No. Square describes the print format in this set, not the aspect ratio of every scene canvas. The archive includes landscape and portrait reference images.

Can I present a print with a border? Yes. The mockup supports a full print or a print with a border, as well as paper color and design changes.

Will this prove how my artwork prints on real paper? No. Use the mockup to present composition, borders and surface appearance. For production approval, request a physical proof from your printer using the intended paper and printing setup.

Is the preview artwork included? No. Supply your own artwork or separately licensed designs; the PSD mockups and reference JPGs do not grant rights to the sample graphics.
