Start with the fabric type and the amount of pattern you need to show: a swatch, a roll and a folded stack reveal different parts of a repeat.
The mockup combines your artwork with the texture, lighting and folds prepared for that scene. This can make the design look different from a flat digital tile. Keep the supplied effect layers intact unless the instructions say otherwise, and choose a fabric texture that represents the material you intend to use.
It is a collection of related mockup products sold together. Examples include bundles focused on textures or jersey fabric. Check the included-product list before buying, especially if you already own some of the sets. Each bundle has its own contents, download size and software requirements.
Open the design Smart Object and repeat your tile across the entire editable canvas, using a pattern fill or another repeat method supported by your editor. Save it to update the scene. Check the scale and tile joins; the mockup will not turn a non-seamless image into a seamless repeat.
Yes. Create finished images with your own patterns and use them for permitted product listings and marketing. Standard and Extended do not allow customers to upload designs and generate their own previews using the mockup. For questions about license limits, describe your exact use rather than assuming the limit is counted in yards sold.

Why use Fabric mockups?

Apply your artwork to the selected scenes to review its scale and placement with those details in view. Comparing several formats is useful when presenting a print collection or discussing color variations with a buyer. Use a roll view for an overall product image, swatches to show related designs, or a sewing scene to give the fabric a setting. Export the images for online shops, licensing portfolios, client presentations and campaigns. The same compositions can be reused for later prints, with each separate file edited individually, so new designs can be compared under consistent lighting.
