Build a preserves packaging presentation around a faceted glass jar, a custom label and a coordinated lid. This jam jar mockup set includes two PSD variants, with smooth and textured jam appearances, plus eight jam color options shown in the previews.

Test the Label Against the Contents

Transparent glass makes the jam color part of your packaging palette. Start with the lightest and darkest contents options, then compare the same label against both. A label that works over yellow jam may lose definition against a deep red preserve, so check the edge contrast as well as the text.

Try a compact round label and a wider label before settling on a direction. Leaving more glass visible emphasizes the contents; a broader label gives illustrations and brand information more room. Keep the lid design consistent during the comparison so the label is the main variable.
