Split Effect Vinyl Record & Cover Mockup v.1

Give a two-color vinyl concept a softer transition with the curved split in version 1. The disc sits in front of a square album cover, showing the artwork through translucent-looking portions of the preview finish. Unlike the straight diagonal in v.2, this division bends across the record for a less geometric presentation.

Style the Record and Its Packaging Together

Adjust the special-effect colors, replace the center label and change the sleeve color and artwork. The movable cover helps you control how much of the design remains visible behind the disc. An optional, movable sticker accepts your own color and design. Choose a background color or texture, with objects and drop shadows separated into layers.

Check What Shows Through the Disc

When using a translucent-looking color combination, inspect the area where the vinyl overlaps the sleeve. A busy cover can change how the lighter portion of the record reads. Keep the artwork identical across color tests so you can compare that interaction fairly.

Build a Palette from the Music Artwork

Start with one dominant cover color and a lighter companion tone. Then try a darker pairing to see whether the center label remains distinct. The curved split can work with organic illustrations or atmospheric photography without adding another rigid line to the design.

Share a Concept with Clear Limits

Use the resulting image for client approvals, release announcements or a portfolio presentation. It does not replace the technical files required by a record manufacturer. Treat the preview as a visual direction, not a prediction of exact pigment mixing or transparency in the finished pressing.

How does v.1 differ from v.2?

Version 1 has a curved two-color boundary; version 2 uses a straight diagonal division.

Are the displayed colorways separate mockup files?

No. They show different color settings for one PSD scene. The six OTF files are font resources.

Can I add my own label and sticker?

Yes. The label and optional sticker support custom color and artwork, and the sticker can be moved.
