Split Effect Vinyl Record & Cover Mockup v.3

Four alternating color sectors give this split vinyl record mockup a strong graphic rhythm. A front-facing disc overlaps a square sleeve, keeping the center label, record finish and cover artwork visible together. Use v.3 to present a two-color release concept with a more segmented appearance than a simple half-and-half split.

Coordinate Four Sectors with Your Cover

Change the special-effect colors, label design and label color. The cover is movable and supports custom color and artwork. Add your own optional sticker, adjust its position and design, and set a background color or texture. Objects and drop shadows are on separate layers, with transparency available when the background is hidden.

Smart Objects for Release Presentations

Place your artwork into the corresponding Smart Objects, save their contents and return to the scene. Compare a high-contrast edition with a quieter palette while keeping the cover unchanged. This is useful for music labels, album designers and musicians preparing a release pitch, preorder image or portfolio case study.

Let the Disc Echo One Cover Detail

Pick two colors from a small part of your cover illustration, then repeat them across the alternating sectors. This connects the record to its packaging without copying the entire image onto the disc. Check the result at thumbnail size: a clear center label helps the four-part pattern remain readable.

Present Color Choices Consistently

For a client comparison, hold the sleeve placement, background and label artwork constant while changing only the vinyl colors. A second image can show the optional sticker, making it easier to discuss retail messaging separately from the main cover design.

A Visual Concept, Not a Pressing Proof

Use the mockup to communicate the intended color relationship. It is not a manufacturing template or a guarantee of a physical pressing's pigment boundaries, transparency or finish. Confirm production artwork and available vinyl colors separately with your supplier.
