The tree does more than supply a background: its branching shapes lead the eye toward the box. Use a bold lid illustration or a clear wordmark to stand apart from the bark, then carry a secondary pattern onto the visible sides. The different viewpoints help you judge which design details remain recognizable when the packaging is angled or partly framed by a branch.
