Broad areas of color meet irregular marbled edges in this v.7 vinyl presentation. With the disc overlapping its album cover, the scene gives a bold edition concept a clear packaging context: artwork, label and effect can be evaluated together.

Use the prominent light-and-dark regions to build contrast with your sleeve, or bring the colors closer for a more tonal result. The red-and-blue gallery example illustrates one palette, not a required color scheme.

Compare the Overall Shape Before the Detail

Reduce your exported preview to the size of its intended placement and check the broad color balance first. Does the record remain distinct from the cover? Is the title visible? Then inspect the full-size file for label alignment and finer marbling. These two checks answer different design questions.

Use the mockup to communicate visual intent, not to promise an identical physical pattern on every record. Discuss achievable color combinations with the pressing plant and prepare print files using the supplier’s sleeve and label specifications.
