Let the Lid Stand Apart from the Fabric

Using the same pattern at the same scale on the box and velvet can make their edges harder to distinguish. Try a small motif on the lid with a larger, quieter fabric pattern, or use a plain box color against decorative velvet. The aim is coordination without losing the shape of the packaging.
