About this fabric swatch mockup

The Cotton Fabric Swatches Pinned to a Wall Mockup by Creatsy is a fabric mockup that shows your surface pattern as a set of cotton swatches pinned to a wall, the way a textile designer or a buyer reviews a collection. It comes as a single layered PSD at 6000 x 4600 px and 300 dpi, large enough to print a sample board or crop in on one swatch at full fabric detail. The swatches sit at slightly different angles with their corners pinned, so the set looks like a real sample wall rather than a flat grid.

Your design goes onto the fabric through smart objects, and the swatches change both color and pattern, so a whole repeat reads at real cloth scale with the folds, pins, and soft shadows already on top. The background changes too, in color and design, and a premade wall texture is included, so you can keep the studio-wall look or swap in your own surface. Pinning a pattern up like this is how designers check a repeat before it goes to print, and this mockup gives you that check without cutting a yard of fabric.

To use it, double-click a swatch smart object, drop in your repeating pattern or artwork, and save - it maps onto the cotton with the drape and weave of the scene over it, so it looks woven rather than pasted. The paisley and floral prints in the previews are display artwork, the Rosa Selvaggia collection by Tashi Studio, and are not included; you bring your own pattern, and the wall, pins, and lighting are already set.

Use it to present a surface-pattern collection to a client or a fabric buyer, to build an Etsy or Spoonflower listing that shows a print on real cotton, or to fill a portfolio and a pattern-design case study. One PSD covers a shoot that would otherwise mean printing sample yardage, pinning it up, and lighting a wall evenly.

Who it is for

It suits surface and textile designers presenting a print collection, pattern sellers on Etsy, Spoonflower, or Creative Market who want to show a design on real cotton, and studios building portfolio and pitch images. It works for florals, paisleys, geometrics, kids prints, or home-decor patterns. It is equally at home in a fabric shop listing, a wallpaper or home-textile range, or a licensing pitch to a manufacturer. If you design repeats and need a believable fabric preview without a print run, this is built for it.

Artwork credit

The pattern shown in the previews is the collection by Tashi Studio. It is display artwork, used to show the mockup in use, and is not included in the download.
